Next Generation Programme 2021 | Issue 167

Mark the 4th and 5th of August in your diaries! Planning is underway for this year's Next Generation Programme which we're taking back to where it all started - Queenstown.

This year will be a little different, we're getting you our on farm both days to give you a real insight on how different operations run. The NZDFA covers the cost of the programme, some transport for those flying in and evening function meal. You'll have to cover the costs of your accommodation, breakfast, and travel to/from Queenstown.

SPACES ARE LIMITED SO YOU MANY END UP ON THE WAITLIST. IF THIS OCCURS YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED, PLEASE WAIT UNTIL YOUR SPOT HAS BEEN CONFIRMED BY REBECCA BEFORE BOOKING FLIGHTS OR ANY OTHER TRAVEL.

Day 1 - 10:30am - late

Fairlight Station farm tour and introduction to the Fairlight Foundation.

Pamu Landcorp Eyre Creek farm tour (Breeding and venison finishing).

Wrap up - travel back to Queenstown.

Evening function.

Day 2 - 9:00am - 2:30pm

Remarkables Station farm tour and introduction to the QEII Trust and new future.

Deer Park Heights farm tour deer farming and tourism.

We have limited rooms held at Ramada Suites by Wyndham Queenstown (in Frankton by the airport, 24 Hawthorne Drive, Remarkables Park, Queenstown). If you would like to use our rates, you will need to book through us. Please indicate which room you would like to book on the registration form, and we will get in touch once your accommodation has been confirmed or with alternate options if rooms have been booked out.

There is also an option to share a room if you would like to split costs with another attendee.
