Farm Planning focused on Mapping & Biodiversity
Bring your farm map into the digital age during this workshop, learning how to create and use a digital farm map that identifies land classes, high risk and critical source areas, specific infrastructure, land management units and actions of tasks to do, plus many other features.
Digital maps are now very beneficial for council regulations and farm assurance schemes not to mention for keeping your own benefit as well.
Have a look at the current biodiversity on your property, what does biodiversity look like, what are the benefits of it and build a plan around how you can manage and grow or improve it across your property.
DINZ have partnered with MyEnviro and are offering complementary workshops to members wanting to grow their knowledge and management of farm resources and demystify farm planning. Workshops will focus on taking farmers on a learning journey and creating a resource management plan that can be used for Farm Environment Plans or towards NZFAP Plus accreditation.
