Another industry conference is over, but this year was a special one, combining a mix of the past, present and future as the 50th year of the NZDFA was marked.

Farmers and rural leaders urged to seize opportunity to shape the future of freshwater regulation >>

The Coalition Government has launched Phase 2 of their targeted changes to national direction under the Resource Management Act (RMA) and freshwater regulation reforms. Public consultation is now underway and runs until 27 July 2025 and includes 26 proposals across three key areas: infrastructure and development, the primary sector, and freshwater.

 

2025 Next Generation Programme >>

Registrations now open! To be based out of Blenheim, Marlborough (New Zealand's sunniest town in 2024!) on Thursday 31 July and Friday 1 August, the programme will include farm visits and some theory alongside a social evening.
